Part II: After Wheaton

Closure feels phenomenal on this end of things. Really. Everything I hoped and wished for came true. Must have been that shooting star I saw in North East the other day.
The stop in Wheaton was "Just What I Needed" (by The Cars), bc all that was left of the school was--well--summer run-off, I'll call it. Seeing the harvard of Xn institutions in its dog days put everything in good perspective. Plus, there was the magic of the Pita House in Lombard that I had totally missed in my 4 years there.
In other news, me and a friend were harping on the idea that greeting card companies should make a line of cards to let ppl know when the sender has stopped believing in God. (It would have to be published by Tyndale, don't you think?) There could be different "types" of these cards, one could be the fire-and-brimstone category (i.e. I'll see you in Hell!). Here are some of our best ideas for specific cards:
1. Front: To Do List, including items such as Clean out basement, Groceries, Shower, Water plants, Stop believing in God
Inside: Blank
(Then, a slight variation of this could be a list of Goals After Graduation, including items such as Move out of parents' house, Get a dog, Get a good job, Buy Trivial pursuit 90's edition, Stop believing in God.)
2. A parody of the Footsteps poem, which would remain the same until after the narrator asks God why there's only one set of Footprints, instead of God answering that was when he carried the narrator, God could say something like "That's when I had to get a beer out of the fridge." or "That's when I was busy in the bathroom."
3. Front: A tombstone with 2 dates. The first is labeled "Reborn" with the person's conversion date, the 2nd is labeled "Deceased" and it's the date where person has--obviously--stopped believing.
Inside: Happy Anniversery
And the best one:
4. Front: YHWH?
Inside: No way!
Enjoy. Stay strong.

In other news, the trailed for Everything Is Illuminated can be found here. Looks like Liev Schreiber is doing some great things with it. The jury's still out on Wood, however.
